Has Your Child Been Accused of Underage Drinking?
An underage drinking charge can have lasting consequences. Your child could potentially be charged with a felony and face a range of severe penalties. In addition, his or her driver's license may be suspended. To discuss strategies for preventing this charge from causing irreparable damage to your child's future, consult with a lawyer immediately.

Comprehensive Underage Drinking Defense
At my offices in Sarasota and Venice, I defend minors charged with a range of juvenile drinking offenses, including:
- Minor in possession of alcohol
- Possession of an open container
- Juvenile DUI
An underage drinking offense can have long-term consequences. Your child could lose financial aid, encounter difficulties getting accepted into certain colleges or be passed over for future job opportunities. Let me help you fight the charge.
Driver's License Suspension
If your child is under 21 and law enforcement officials smell alcohol on his or her breath, they can request that your child take a portable breath test. If the minor is charged with underage drinking, his or her driver's license is subject to an immediate six month administrative suspension. The only way to contest this suspension is to request a formal review hearing within 10 days.
As your child's attorney, I will request a hearing with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) and fight to help your child keep his or her driver's license.
